SVSD Literacy with ICT

We wanted to touch base with you before our day next Thursday…hard
to believe November is sneaking up on us already!

At present, we know that we will meet at SVRSS and begin at 9am.
However, our starting location will remain TBA (we’ll let you know
asap). We do know that at approx 10 am we will move to the ICT lab
where we will have access to laptops. Feel free to bring your own
laptop, if you have one and would prefer it.

Here are a a couple of reminders and one tiny request (we know you are
very busy, so we’ll keep it simple!)

1. Bring: ICT binder
Laptop (if wanted)

2. One of our team goals is to create a teacher friendly blog where
SVSD Educators (and any other interested) can find some ICT friendly
activities to use in their class. We’d like you to post a simple
learning experience (activity) that you already do that somehow
incorporates technology of any kind on our SVSD Literacy with ICT blog

(choose the appropriate category – i.e. Early Years, Middle Years, or
General… it could be as simple as a spelling activity that requires
you to type your words in 4 different fonts! If you prefer,instead
of blogging your technology activity, email it to me and I can post it
prior to our session for you. We are planning to use these LE’s for
an activity during our session.
