I always thot I was a concrete sequential kinda guy, but I find my goals for today have evolved into something different a month from now…could be random, could be flaky…not sure. I am teaching Gr 1/2 Math this year, and a couple of my goals are to:
1. Teach Gr 1/2’s to log in with the confusing password criteria…some don’t know letters, never mind upper and lower case.
2. Get Gr 1/2’s on to paint and other creative projects
3. Utilize Essential Skills and other division software to encourage differentiated instruction, and individual intervention.

I would agree with Derek’s goals and say that works for me too!

1. To work with E-Pearl with my students and colleagues.

2. To be a positive contributing member of the ICT committee.

3. To be a peer coach to staff members.

I went to a smart board session this summer in Winnipeg. It was a 2 day session, and a good refresher for me. The participants all made different files and I have a lot of really great elementary smart notebook files if you are interested in seeing them. Send me an email to let me know if you are interested, and I will bring them to the next meeting.

1. To become familiar and comfortable using and teaching E-Pearl to my students and colleagues.

2. To keep up maintaining classroom blogs as well as the division del.icio.us account.

3. To be as supportive as I can be to the new members in my school.

I like that the students can share their work with parents prior to the conference with the teacher.
I am looking forward to using this next year with my students. Using e pearl will cover a lot of the continuum - a bonus!

Will it be possible to use your power point presentation when we introduce this to staff?
